Dear All,

Greetings!

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of ParCFD 2010, I would like to announce that the 22nd International Conference on Parallel Computational Fluid Dynamics 2010 will be held from May 17 to 21, 2010, in
Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

ParCFD is a series of annual international conferences dedicated to the discussion of recent developments and applications of parallel computing in the field of CFD and related disciplines. The conference was launched in 1989 and since then has been held in America, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, U.K., France, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, South Korea and Taiwan. It is our great honor to accept this appointment to take charge of the Conference, which is authorized by the International Advisory Committee of ParCFD. We are expecting around 150 participants from all over the world to join us at this exciting event.

ParCFD 2010 provides a forum to researchers throughout the world to exchange their experiences and present the latest research results on all aspects of parallel computing in the field of CFD. During the 5-day conference, the program will feature plenary lectures, invited lectures/discussion, tutorials, and oral and poster presentations. They include all modern advances and new trends in Parallel Computational Fluid Dynamics including, but not limited to:

  • Tera- and Peta-scale Computing • Fluid-structure Interaction
  • Multi-disciplinary Design Optimization • Acoustics
  • Multi-scale & Multi-physics Applications • Turbulence
  • Atmospheric & Ocean Modeling • Combustion
  • Medical & Biological Applications • Plasma Dynamics
  • Parallel Algorithms & Solvers • Micro Aerial Vehicles
  • Parallel Software Development • Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Applications
  • Software Frameworks • Industrial & Environmental Engineering Applications
  • Energy Science and Engineering • Molecular Dynamics
  • Rarefied Gas Dynamics • Graphic Processor Unit (GPU) Computing

This conference is believed to be THE EVENT for Parallel Computational Fluid Dynamics in TAIWAN. Taking this wonderful opportunity of a world union, we sincerely invite you to join us at the Conference.  With your support and participation, we are sure this conference will be very successful!

Yours truly,
